Winning Eleven World Soccer -Eurasia- -J- is a fascinating rather than a must-play classic. It tries to bridge European and Asian club football years before PES or FIFA would take the concept seriously. The gameplay is rock-solid, but the lack of Master League and major licensing gaps (EPL, Bundesliga) hurt its longevity.

Instead, it’s a regional side game focused specifically on European (Europa) and Asian (Asia) club football. The "-J-" in the title indicates the Japanese version (there was no international release).
If you find it cheap as a collector’s item or want to experience a unique Konami experiment, it’s worth a few hours. But if you want the definitive PS2 Winning Eleven experience, stick with WE6 Final Evolution or WE7 International .
