My brothers, do not waste your time on useless things. Learn, read, and strive in your studies. Time is like a sword; if you don't cut with it, it will cut you. Whoever uses their time wisely succeeds in this life and the hereafter, and whoever wastes it will regret it when regret is of no use.

Finally, I remind myself and you to make use of time before hardship, health before sickness, and youth before old age.

We are students. We must organize our time between studying, resting, and worshipping. Do not postpone today's work until tomorrow. Praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds,

يا إخواني، لا تضيعوا وقتكم في أشياء لا تفيد. تعلموا، اقرأوا، واجتهدوا في دراستكم. الوقت كالسيف إن لم تقطعه قطعك. من استغل وقته فاز في الدنيا والآخرة، ومن أضاعه ندم حين لا ينفعه الندم.

Time is life. Time is the most precious thing we own. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran: "By time, indeed mankind is in loss" (Surah Al-Asr). Allah swore by time because it has great value.

الوقت هو الحياة. الوقت أغلى ما نملك. قال الله تعالى في القرآن الكريم: "وَالْعَصْرِ، إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ" (سورة العصر). أقسم الله بالوقت لأن له قيمة كبيرة.
