Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) was released in 2004. Microsoft ended support for it years ago, and TeamViewer no longer supports Windows XP . You cannot run the latest version of TeamViewer (v15 or higher) on XP SP2. If you need remote access to or from an old XP machine, you must use a legacy version—but be aware of the significant security risks. Why You Probably Can’t Use Modern TeamViewer If you visit the official TeamViewer website today and click “Download,” you will get an installer that refuses to run on Windows XP SP2.
