Sefer HaTemunah (Hebrew: "Book of the Image" or "Book of the Form") is a foundational and esoteric text within early Kabbalah, particularly associated with the school of Rabbi Nehunia ben HaKanah (the same circle credited with the Sefer HaBahir ). Unlike the more systematic Zohar , Sefer HaTemunah is known for its radical and cyclical theory of cosmic time, Sabbaticals ( Shemittot ), and the transformation of the Torah itself. Historical Context and Authorship The book is traditionally attributed to Rabbi Nehunia ben HaKanah (1st century Tanna), but scholarly consensus places its composition in 13th-century Spain, likely within the same Provençal-Catalan esoteric circle that produced the Sefer HaBahir and the early Gikatilla texts.

Before diving into the Sefer HaTemunah , study the Sefer HaBahir and the first few gates of Sha'arei Orah by Yosef Gikatilla. For modern commentary, see Gershom Scholem’s Origins of the Kabbalah (Chapter on the "Circle of the Speculation on the Shemitot"). sefer hatemunah pdf

Matching Paul Harris Credits for Rotary Foundation Donations
sefer hatemunah pdfThere are Paul Harris (PH) credits available for members to make up the $1000 donation required.  It works this way: If you pay half of the amount you need for a PH fellowship, then the club will use available credits to make up the balance.  So for instance say you already havesefer hatemunah pdf PH credits amounting to $ 600.  If you donate another $200, then the club will match your amount with some of those credits bringing the total to $ 1000 and bringing you a PH fellowship!  And Rotary benefits, too!
