I reverse-image searched it. Nothing.

A user posted: “Does anyone know the lyrics to ‘Himawari wa Yoru ni Saku’ by the indie band ‘Tsukikage’? They played it live at Shibuya O-Nest in 2008 and disappeared. I recorded it on a mini-disc but the vocals are distorted.” I contacted that user via an old email posted in their signature. No reply yet.

The point is the bloom in the dark—the idea that something beautiful existed, was heard by a few dozen people, and then vanished. Sunflowers turn toward the sun. But this one turned away, and we’re left looking for its shadow.
