If you are on Ubuntu, Debian, or Raspberry Pi OS, do not use the default driver. You need the driver. For Raspberry Pi (Raspbian / Bookworm): sudo apt update sudo apt install realtek-rtl8xxxu-dkms sudo reboot Note: You may need to blacklist the old driver first: Have a different issue
