This study has several limitations. The sample size was relatively small, and the participants were recruited through snowball sampling, which may not be representative of the larger Muslim population in Indonesia. Future studies can build upon this research by employing a larger sample size and more diverse recruitment methods.

The findings of this study underscore the importance of Mari Sembahyang in modern Indonesian society. The practice of prayer not only fosters individual spiritual growth but also promotes community building and social cohesion. However, the challenges faced by Muslims in practicing Mari Sembahyang highlight the need for support and understanding from the community and policymakers.

Introduction
Exploring the Significance of Mari Sembahyang in Modern Indonesian Society: A Study on the Role of Prayer in Daily Life
Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim-majority country, with approximately 231 million Muslims, constituting 87% of the total population (BPS, 2020). Islam plays a vital role in shaping the country's culture, values, and daily life. Mari Sembahyang, a fundamental aspect of Islamic practice, is an obligatory prayer performed five times a day. Despite its significance, the practice of Mari Sembahyang in modern Indonesian society has not received sufficient attention.
