On the seventh day, his computer finished seeding the file to three peers. A user in Vienna downloaded it. Another in Berlin. A third in a town called Grünau, where the real forest from Die Wand had been filmed.
It started as a passion project. Each time the file opened, a new wall appeared around a new person. And each person saw the same thing: not the movie anymore, but a man sitting on a carpet, computer out of reach, mouthing the same silent words over and over: Days passed
