Two-part episode (11–12) Conan is summoned to a remote island by a letter from a dead pianist. A series of murders follows the melody of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata.” This case is emotionally heavy, as the killer commits suicide by fire. Conan later regrets not saving them. The Strange Person Hunt (The Junior Detective League Case) Conan is forced to join three nosy classmates: Ayumi Yoshida , Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya , and Genta Kojima . Together, they form the Junior Detective League (later the Detective Boys). They solve a case involving a stolen bank vault.
