Daichi Pdf <High-Quality 2024>

The “Daichi PDF” system is a proposed document management standard for cross-institutional data sharing. It combines structured PDF/A-3 with embedded JSON metadata. This paper outlines its architecture, use case in digital preservation, and comparison with existing PDF standards.

This paper presents an application of the Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS, nicknamed “Daichi”) Phased Array type L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (PALSAR) data for monitoring land surface changes. We processed Level 1.0 and derived PDF-based metadata reports from the Daichi archive. Results indicate a ground displacement of 12 cm/year in coastal regions. The PDF data sheets provided critical calibration parameters. Our method demonstrates the value of open Daichi products for geohazard studies. daichi pdf
