Hex watched in horror as his Notepad++ document began typing itself. New flags appeared:

He grinned. Let’s flip the script. He changed false to true . Then he went deeper. He found "relationship_with_atala": "friend" and changed it to "relationship_with_atala": "goddess_worshiper" . He didn’t even know if that was a real flag. It didn’t matter.

“Why?” the game text asked.

He tried to move. Vex walked through walls. NPCs spoke dialogue from three patches ago. Atala, the frosty elf mage, was now following him while crying petals and whispering “forgive me, my god” every three seconds. Gold overflowed into negative integers. His lust resistance was so high he couldn’t feel arousal at all—just a sterile, mathematical purity.

Hex blinked. “Uh. Cool.”
